Base Pay:
US $395,000 - $495,000 per annum
Plus role listed Region benefits, and;
As a Senior Regional Asia Pacific team leader you will share - on a fixed % basis with no cap, in region based performance bonuses. Five year pre-paid home loan finance will be provided, plus a two year convertible stock option plan, fixed at a two times current base salary multiple pa and convertible on a two year term.
The package is designed to return minimum performance based remuneration of - US $5-7.5 Mn per annum for the successful candidate with outstanding future prospects for near-term career advancement to Global C-Suite Level.

Job description:
IQSM Limited is seeking a young, self-confident and 'digitally-switched' CFO - with at least 5+ years professional experience and first-class leadership, delegation and presentation skills developed in buy and sell-side - regional market operations. They will be responsible for all regional finance operations, and will both oversee and maintain, the back-end regenerative funding protocols, funding service mandates and reserve exchange systems that power our proprietary business model.
We’re searching for a battle-proven, motivated, and highly ambitious candidate, successful in their current role but wanting progression and a clear and certain reward based roadmap to meet their short-term ambitions while recruiting and developing a first-class new financial team around them, imbued with complementary work ethics, ambitions - and a "get it done now" workplace attitude.
The successful candidate will join our senior regional management team with it's unrivalled bonus distribution system and help keep our local and regional funding origination services pre-positioned for continued growth and ongoing success.
The CFO will have a real 'day-to-day' impact, on all group financial development strategies and plans and regional service operations helping the team to analyse, strategise, optimise and grow our global ecosystem delivery service lines and financial position. This seasoned financial strategist will understand traditional local current-state fundraising and accounting practices and trends, and will also develop first hand experience in managing KPIs for new continuous capital flows and reserve generation processes across markets and adapting to change 'on-the-fly', particularly through - current and forward-looking - M&A objectives and operations in Asia Pacific.
As a member of the senior regional management team, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires demonstrative front-line experience, and clear and effective team management and communication skills.
Prior experience in local and regional investment banking and fund-raising - and first hand experience dealing with regulatory compliance, audit and accounting, asset management, private markets, protective SPV based use-cases, IP trusts, fixed income trading, treasury and regional open market asset trading operations and M&A will be favourably considered.
The successful candidate will play a - mission-critical - role in implementing and re-shaping our local, regional and global regenerative financing systems and strategies and managing day-to-day regional trading and open market treasury and funding line operations, and will be rewarded accordingly - with an unrivalled individual performance based bonus structure with no cap.
It will be necessary to accept and to complete an initial non-disclosure agreement - prior to detailed initial discussions and a pre-employment review in depth - and a binding two year non-compete agreement that is effective on completion or cessation of group employment.
Objectives of this role
-
Take responsibility (both directly and via accounting and finance support staff) - for all funding line management, fundraising, investment, insurance, budgeting and overview of financial reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy and hiring needs

Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same

Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day treasury operations, accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization

Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organisation that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows

Comply with national and local financial requirements by studying existing and new legislation and taking appropriate action
Responsibilities
-
Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting

Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement

Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
-
Oversee HR operations by coordinating with external service providers (ex: payroll, benefits, recruitment) and internal staff responsible for other aspects of HR
-
Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, management team, and rest of company

Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities (ex: Financial Accounting Standards Board, Internal Revenue Service, state attorneys general)
Required skills and qualifications

Minimum of 5 or more years recent experience in a senior financial leadership role

Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity

Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills

Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning addressing both GAAP and IFRS requirements.

Working knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of credit
Preferred skills and qualifications

Master’s degree (or equivalent front-line experience) in business, accounting or finance
