The Role:

Managing Director Level - Asia Pacific

Group Leader - Investment Banking and M&A - Asia Pacific

Reporting directly, to the Group CFO - Global Operations - the successful candidate will be responsible for all regional Investment Banking operations and M&A transactions - with 5+ years of senior experience required - in local investment banking markets - in Asia Pacific.

We are seeking a young, highly ambitious, and extremely confident - get-the-job-done type of team leader, with first-class presentation skills - who has the the opportunity to build and develop a brand new IB team from the ground up, by leveraging unrivalled new investment banking and M&A capabilities without competition, on an unprecedented local and regional scale.

Job Type:

 

Full-time, Permanent

 

Base Pay:

 

US $495,000 per annum

With role listed home base region benefits - plus;

Management team performance bonuses, a five year pre-paid home loan, and a two year convertible stock option plan, fixed at a five times base salary multiple pa over a 2 yr term.

The base salary and bonus package is designed to return minimum regional performance remuneration of US $8-10.5 Mn in year one and increasing with group growth, without cap for the successful candidate thereafter plus generous stock options with secondary market trading and drawing line rights available post conversion. 

It will be necessary to accept and to complete an initial non-disclosure agreement - prior to detailed initial discussions, and a pre-employment review in depth. In additional - a binding 2 year non-compete agreement will need to be completed by the successful candidate that is effective immediately for a 2 year term, on completion or cessation of group employment.
